The site gives general information about the Boat Safety Scheme, examiners and insurance. It is not professional, legal or insurance advice. We aren't part of the Boat Safety Scheme. If what we say differs from the Scheme's own documents, theirs is right.
Examiners and insurers
Examiners and insurers listed here are independent businesses. We don't employ them, recommend one over another, or take part in any agreement you make with them. Check an examiner on the official BSS register, and an insurer on the FCA register, before you rely on them.
Accuracy
We check what we publish and show when we last checked it, but details change. We can't promise everything is complete or up to date. If you spot a mistake, tell us.
Our responsibility
We aren't responsible for the work of any examiner or insurer, for other websites we link to, or for the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
